Fukuoka is a favourite with Korean travellers, and the numbers show it. According to Fukuoka City, 4.332 million foreign visitors entered the city in 2025, a record for the second year running, and 53.7% were from Korea (Fukuoka City). Several central pachinko halls have responded with English and especially Korean information.

Pachinko, then yatai
Fukuoka’s open-air food stalls, the yatai (屋台), are the classic way to end an evening. VISIT FUKUOKA says yatai culture took root after the war and that Nakasu is lined with stalls along the river (VISIT FUKUOKA); Fukuoka City’s Yokanavi site has a directory (Yokanavi). Play first with a fixed budget (set a pachinko budget), then go and eat.
